This is without a doubt one of the toughest one mile courses of all time! Most of you know, but some of you don’t! Red Rocks Amphitheater Stairs slopes as much as 90 degrees at points. 8 Times up and down those famous stairs is one mile! Run or Walk! It’s a serious challenge!

7:00-8:00am  Core Blast   

Full core conditioning adding the lower back and abs to the mix. Get the knowledge and know how to get that six pack you want for the summer!

8:00-9:00am  Total Body Blast

A full body workout designed for 4000 people in the amphitheater! A one hour total body, core, strength and conditioning workout in tune with concert quality sound and bass in your face! Push ups, Step ups, dips, squats, box jumps, abs, lunges, stair run, cardio and aerobic movements. The amphitheater will touch every part of your body in a high intensity interval exercise!

8:15-9:15am  Bodycombat™     

BodyCombat is a non-contact, martial arts based workout with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Tai Chi.

This class is supported by adrenaline filled music and an instructor who models movements for you. You will strike, punch, and kick your way through calories to achieve superior cardiovascular fitness. Each BODYCOMBAT™ class provides an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers fast fitness results.

The River Vinyasa Yoga will be providing an hour of yoga inside of the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. The yoga class can hold up to 4,000 people. Make sure you bring your own yoga mat.

10:45 - 11:00 Fundraiser Rice Haul for Project Worthmore

One 50 pound bag of rice can feed a refugee family in Burma for an entire month. Our goal is to haul over 50 bags all the way up the amphitheatre stairs and into the Festival Circle at Fitness on the Rocks. Walking up the stairs is hard enough, try it with 50 pounds on your back! Each bag of rice brought to the top plaza will provide a dollar amount donated to Project Worthmore. PWM is a nonprofit organization that seeks to improve the quality of life of Denver-area refugees from Burma by providing cultural mentorship and community supports.

11:30-12:00pm  Tug Of War 

Fitness in the City presents the second annual, RED ROCKS TUG-OF-WAR CHALLENGE!  

Get ready for a fun playground game of Tug Of War! Eight ropes going at once and winner stays on until they lose! Awards and giveaways to any team that can make it five minutes straight.

We all know and love the Colorado sunshine, but in the middle of July- that heat can be tantalizing! After all the workouts and burned calories are complete, make your way up to the Top Plaza to experience one of the biggest water fights Colorado will ever encounter! Our partners over at World Life Water will be supplying the water, water guns and water balloons as we prepare for battle. At 12:15pm on July 19th, the momentum will prevail. You won't want to miss this.
