Fitness in the City presents the first ever, RED ROCKS TUG-OF-WAR CHALLENGE!  

Get ready for a fun playground game of Tug Of War! 6 people per Team! 8 Ropes going at once! Winner Stays on until they lose! Awards and giveaways to any team that can make it 5 minutes straight!

YOGA on the Rocks

Do an hour of yoga inside of the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater lead by some of Colorado’s most talented yogies! Yoga class can hold 4000 people.  Make sure you bring your own yoga mat.  

90 mins - Amphitheater Stage




Will be launched this year for the first time at Fitness on the Rocks! It is a non-contact, martial arts based workout with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Tai Chi. This class is supported by adrenaline filled music and an instructor who models movements for you.  You will strike, punch, and kick your way through calories to achieve superior cardiovascular fitness. Each BODYCOMBAT™ class provides an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers fast fitness results.  

75 mins -  Top Plaza Stage


Come and Challenge yourself on the Orange Theory Fitness Row Challenge! How long and how fast can you go on 3-6 minutes of Rowing! Prizes and Giveaways will be given to the winners! 

ALL DAY  - Top Plaza 


This workout combines high energy and motivating music with synchronized dance movements designed for any fitness level. The routines feature aerobic fitness interval training combining fast and slow rhythms. Want to burn some calories and have fun? 

75 mins - Top Plaza Stage



A full body workout designed for 4000 people in the Amphitheater! A 90 minute  Total Body, core, strength and conditioning workout in sync with concert quality sound. Push ups, Step ups, dips, squats, box jumps, abs, lunges, stair run, cardio and aerobic movements. The amphitheater will touch every part of your body in a high intensity interval exercise!

by Genesee Mountain FitnessGet your body burning with this high intensity abdominal and core class.  Torch your whole mid section from abs and obliques to hip flexors.  Core Blast will continue with

full core conditioning adding the lower back and serratus to the mix.  Get the knowledge and know how to get that six pack you want for the summer!! 

30 mins - Top Plaza Stage



 Red Rocks is known for the magnificent and scenic stair climb, and we are going to run every last one of the 69 challenging rows!  

Sprint at 6,400 feet with your friends and piers! We will be running for Team Challenge Who's mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life. We are running for the children and adults affected by these diseases.

We will be lead by Thal Woods with 5050 Fitness! One of the fastest to ever do it on the Rocks! 

30 mins - Meet in Amphitheater

CrossFit is constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement that combines the principals of strength and conditioning. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional athlete, CrossFit is designed with universal scalability, making it the ideal exercise program for anyone regardless of age or experience! The CrossFit Sanitas coaching staff is led by Caleb Diebolt, Certified Level 1 Trainer who joined Sanitas from Reebok CrossFit One, one of the world’s leading CrossFit Facilities. Caleb and his staff will be coaching WODs (workouts of the day) of 20-30 athletes every 30 minutes. Come to the BOTTOM PLAZA to have some fun and work up a sweat with CrossFit Sanitas!
